This webinar gives participants the tools to better understand the appeal of conspiracy theories to certain audiences and the needs met by this type of discourse and movement.

Radical and Rigid ideas: How to facilitate reintegration?

– Online training session in French | November 18 and 19 from 9am to 12:30pm

 

This training is intended for members and non-members of the Association des services de réhabilitation sociale du Québec (ASRSQ). It allows participants to learn about the theme of violent extremism in all its forms (extreme right, extreme left, political-religious and single-cause), to dissect the radicalization process leading to violence, its vulnerability and protection factors, and behaviors that may indicate a potential situation.

The Manosphere: Between adaptation to a new model of equality and hatred of women

This webinar aimed at demystifying different movements associated to the manosphere. It will provide the participants with descriptions of the main components of this movement – such as the Incels – as well as of their respective levels of radicality, and main activities or practices.

The Cabaret de la Seconde Chance is an artistic initiative carried out in 2015 by the Association des services de réhabilitation sociale du Québec (ASRSQ), which aims to raise public awareness of the importance of social reintegration of people in conflict with the law.
